My vodou candles are already powerfully blessed, so not much has to be done on your end, but magick is not for the lazy or those looking for a quick comeup.

NEVER LIGHT CANDLES AROUND CHILDREN, PETS OR ANY FIRE HAZARDS.

NEVER EVER LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND SNUFF THEM PRIOR TO LEAVING THEM.

These candles are heavily dressed with herbs, the herbs may catch on fire, this is normal and shouldn't come as a surprise. You can carefully use a metal spoon to move the herbs away from the wick, or scoop them out if the burning brings worry or too much smoke. 

 

NEVER BLOW ANY CANDLE OUT. THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL TO SPIRIT, WILL EFFECT THE SPELL ITSELF, AND CAN POSSIBLY START A FIRE. 

ALWAYS SNUFF A CANDLE OUT WITH A METAL PLATE, OR SNUFFER. FIRE NEEDS OXYGEN TO LIVE, PUTTING A PLATE ON TOP OF THE CANDLE WILL WEAKEN THE FLAME AND CAUSE IT TO GO OUT WITHOUT CAUSE SPIRITUAL DISRUPTION.

MONITOR THE TEMPERATURE OF THE GLASS, IT CAN CRACK. DUE TO THIS, ITS BEST TO PUT A GLASS PLATE BENEATH THE CANDLE WHILE BURNING FOR SAFETY MEASURES.

 

💦 CLEANSE YOURSELF, YOUR AREA AND YOUR MIND.

You wouldn't cook food in a diseased pan, why would you start off your desires this way? Start off by bathing yourself head to toe, and doing an egg cleanse. Take a white egg that's been left out for a minimum of 1 hour (needs to be room temperature) and wet it with rubbing alcohol. Proceed to rub it all over your body from head to toe. It’s best to have an elder or trusted practitioner do this for you.

- hair/head/ears/back of ears

- arms, hands, legs, neck, bottoms and tops of feet

- butt, genitals (especially if you're a hoe, no shame, just cleanse 😁

 

Once done, get a glass of water and put a bit of salt in it. Crack the egg into the water and let it settle. Come back and read it and see what shape or figure you see, interpret it yourself and come up with a conclusion.

Cleansing and protection are the most important aspects of life, spirituality and hoodoo. 

You don't have to get ready if you stay ready.

Implement a routine where you cleanse regularly, whether it be through the soap you use in the shower or an entire ritual, make sure it gets done.

You can dispose of the water by either flushing it down the toilet (flush salt afterwards to cleanse of residual energy) or disposing of it in a public dumpster far away from your home. Throw it into the dumpster over your left shoulder, and do not look back. 

The area itself can be cleansed by burning the resin, or incense of your choice while verbally banishing any negative energy. Burn it while clearing your mind and mentally preparing for your manifestation to materialize.

You can also do a cleansing bath which I highly recommend if you have HEAVY energy on you. Egg cleanses are lovely but sometimes you need to wash that ass, literally.. and not everyone is comfortable doing an egg cleanse/it goes against their beliefs. Do these frequently as a normal routine — I do mine daily given I do rituals, I’m packaging, creating and have a small social media presence and have many eyes on me. I recommend it as frequently as possible especially if you work with people. 

• Boil pink salt, hyssop, rue, & rosemary for 9 minutes.. Let it cool all the way down, bathe as normal (I recommend using Dr. Bronners peppermint soap as your normal soap), wash up, then pour the liquid over your head. It must get into your hair/ears/everywhere.

• Motion cleansing downwards (with your hands going only down, never go back up) from your hair/ears/neck/throat/face to your chest and shoulders, then your arms, then your abdomen/back, genitals, legs and feet. Once you reach your feet, motion from ankle to toes to send the energy away from you.

• Do this while reciting JOHN 15:3. 

• Air dry, for ladies pat the 🐱 with a towel and buttcrack/the cuff under the booty if you’re thick. I know it’s uncomfortable to stay moist 😇

• Afterwards wrap your head in white for 3 days & refrain from sex for 3 days as well to avoid residual energy from your partner falling back onto you. 

I love to spray Florida water into my hair (from far so it doesn’t dry it up too much, it IS alcohol) & keep a pyrite on me. I also have a Florida water soap bar (you can Google one or make it yourself) that I use for general upkeep/if I need to quickly remove energy without time to boil herbs/a hand wash. 
 

🌱 FEEDING THE ENERGY

Light your candle and speak as if your desires have already happened for a minimum of 6 minutes. Speak from the heart. You do not want, need, desire, or yearn for money/love/protection/cleansing. You have it, you are it.

Light the candle for a minimum of 3 hours, you can relight the candle as you please, rechanting each lighting.
